Hemzi is a seasoned musician, who has been immersed in music since childhood, and has spent more than two decades pursuing it - playing, performing and teaching. He has been part of bands winning prestigious competitions at IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Bombay (Powai), IIT Chennai, and BITS-Pilani, and was recently nominated for the Jack Daniels Rock Award.
Hemzi has been invited as guest faculty to audition candidates under ECA quota, for college admissions in DU. The present times find Hemzi imparting musical learning at Hemzi's Buzz, a multi-discipline musical academy for the drums, bass, guitars, other musical instruments and performing arts. Students studying at Hemzi's Buzz are groomed for the Grade exams conducted by Trinity College, London and RockSchool.
He is also actively involved in community service activities, conceptualizing and executing musical events which raise funds for the underprivileged, while partnering with leading NGOs and medical entities in Delhi NCR.
